kids say the darndest things...

My new preschool students are such a delight.  The time with them is short and sweet, and it reminds me to not obsess in planning perfect lessons, but rather to walk in prepared to teach and prepared to learn from my students.

They told me some silly things today...

"I LOVE your hair!"

"I sing to my dog sometimes."

"That guitar is NOT a talking guitar!"

"I'm a good singer because I am a GOOD leader."

While within spitting range of my face (and I got nailed with a few drops of spit!), "Next time, you know what should happen?  WE should sing to YOU!"
